The province will allocate 670 billion VND out of the total 1.333 trillion VND required for land clearance along the 19.5 km section of the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway passing through its territory.
After Vang Tau City and Ba Ria City, Phu My Town in Bà Rịa - Vung Tau Province is set to become a city by 2025 and be recognized as a Class II urban area.
According to research, the HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is set to be expanded from four to eight lanes over a nearly 24 km stretch, from the An Phu interchange to the projected intersection with the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway (in Đong Nai). The remaining section from Long Thanh to Dau Giay, spanning 31 km, will retain its current four lanes.
